American exploitation?

Exiting the Co-op after innocently buying my last textbook for school (shhh), my eyes did their normal rounds analyzing everything and everyone until they were disturbed by shiny silver. On a woman’s crotch.

When I saw fliers in what I now confirmed were a couple of womens’ hands wearing shiny underwear, it hit me. The apparel of America: American Apparel.

These two ladies were handing out fliers in underwear for an underwear sale and prancing along the Drag to do it.

To most everyone, it seemed nonchalant, while I was my usual apathetic self, but slightly affected by smut.

American Apparel has had sexual discrimination suits in the past, and it’s a shame that the Drag can remind me they exist.
